Image Consent Form

1. I hereby grant to Vancouver Rowing Club - Rowing Section, Rowing BC and Rowing Canada Aviron (collectively the “Organizations”) on a worldwide basis, the permission to photograph and/or record the Participant’s image and/or voice on still or motion picture film and/or audio tape (collectively the “Images”), and to use the Images to promote the sport and/or the Organizations through traditional media such as newsletters, websites, television, film, radio, print and/or display form, and through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. I understand that I waive any claim to remuneration for use of audio/visual materials used for these purposes. This consent will remain in effect in perpetuity; however, consent may be withdrawn by the Participant by the Participant notifying Vancouver Rowing Club - Rowing Section of such withdrawal in writing.

2. I hereby fully release, discharge, and agree to save harmless the Organizations, for any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses or costs that might arise out of the collection, use or disclosure of the Images or taking, publication, distortion of the Images, negatives, and masters or any other likeness or representation of the Participant that may occur or be produced in the taking of said Images or in any subsequent processing thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel, passing off, misappropriation of personality or invasion of privacy.

3. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE, that I have read and understood the terms and conditions of this document. On behalf of me, my heirs, and assigns, I agree that I am signing this document voluntarily and to abide by the terms and conditions contained herein.

MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

By signing or electronically submitting this renewal form, I acknowledge and agree that, as a condition of my membership with the Vancouver Rowing Club (the “Club”):

1. Compliance with Governing Documents

I will comply with the Club’s Constitution, Bylaws, House Rules, and other policies and rules applicable to members, as amended or duly adopted from time to time in accordance with the Club’s Bylaws and applicable law.

2. Support of Club Objectives

I will respect and support the purposes and objectives of the Club as set out in its Constitution.

3. Accuracy of Membership Information

I confirm that the information provided in connection with my membership and renewal is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge, and I will promptly notify the Club of material changes to my contact or membership information.

4. Guests

I am responsible for ensuring that guests I bring to the Club comply with the Club’s applicable rules and requirements. I will ensure that my guests are accompanied and registered as required by the House Rules.

5. Access and Security

I will:

a. not duplicate, lend, transfer, share, or permit another person to use any Club key, access fob, code, or other access credential issued to me, except where expressly authorized by the Club;

b. take reasonable steps to ensure that Club doors, gates, and other secured access points remain closed and secured, except where temporarily opened or otherwise authorized by the Club; and

c. promptly report to Club staff any known loss or unauthorized use of my access credentials or any suspected breach of Club security.

Acknowledgement
I understand that my membership is subject to the Club’s Constitution, Bylaws, House Rules, and applicable policies and rules.

I understand that a failure to comply with my obligations as a member may result in disciplinary action, suspension, loss of privileges, or termination of membership where permitted, and only in accordance with the Club’s Bylaws and applicable law.

By signing below or electronically submitting this renewal form, I confirm that I have read and understood this Membership Renewal Agreement and Acknowledgement and agree to be bound by it as a condition of my continued membership.

Payment of Fees

Amounts listed below are the full year's dues. The membership year runs October 1st through September 30th.  Members may pay their dues in full using the payment field at the bottom of this form OR may choose to participate in our quarterly payment plan with payments due October 2026 and January, April and July of 2027.

Novice Active Fees $1,732.50*

Noviced Collegiate/U27 Fees $1,541.91*

*Please note, membership with the VRC is annual (12 month period) and dues are non-refundable.
