DIVISION

1	Possess a valid 2025 ORC certificate - with ORC APH less than 530.0 (This changes VARC NOR 3.2.1)
2	Possess a valid 2025 ORC certificate - with ORC APH 530.0 to less than 580.0
3	Posess a valid 2025 PHRF-BC certificate with a rating from 100 - 173.
4	Sportboats possessing a vaild 2025 PHRF-BC certificate Length Overall (LOA) 5.5m - 8.5m Displacement in measurement Trimp (DSPM) <2,000kg Displacement / Length Ration (DSPM/LSM03) <3.70 Spinnaker is asymmetric on Centreline (CL) (eg. Melges 24, GP 26, Elliott 770, Viper 640, Seascape 27, J70, T240, VX One).
5	Cruising Division with a valid 2025 PHRF-BC certificate or club rating white sails only
7	Possess a valid 2025 PHRF-BC certificate with a rating from 174 -275

"4.2 Per VARC NOR 3.2.2 Boats whose ORC APH is +/-5 points of a Division 1 or 2 split may choose to race in either Division adjacent to that split, but must inform the race committee prior to racing."

All those participating in the 2025 VRC Summer Regatta do so at their own risk, and by submitting this entry form, the skipper and crew of each entered yacht specifically agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Vancouver Rowing Club, its members, its organizers and its respective agents, officials, servants and representatives from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with such skipper or his crew or her crew taking part in this event, notwithstanding that the same may have contributed or caused or occasioned by the negligence of the same bodies, or any of them, or their agents, officials, servants or representatives. In addition, the Skipper represents that he/she has read and understands the Racing Rules of Sailing and that a valid certificate of insurance indicating public liability coverage, which for Canadian yachts shall not be less than $2,000,000.00, is carried on board the yacht. We request that non-VRC members submit a copy of your insurance to the VRC office along with your entry form.
